The Changing face of Religion

Christians base their beliefs from the Bible, a book belied to be divinely inspired by God.  Many Christians  listen to preachers or pastors graduating toward a man who appeals to their liking for whatever reason.    There are many people who do not read the Bible and may frame a knowledge base of perceptions by what they have heard from the voice of men.  There is a context issue because even if a person does read the Bible it was translated (into English) by another person.  In a sense people are trusting (perhaps without an awareness they are doing so) that God is communicating a message he is intending. 

We will examine language change by involvement in the translation process of God's word

God's name originally appearing about 6,828 (according to Knight 2011: "The Names of God", The Meaning of the Bible, New York: HarperOne, 2011) times in the Hebrew scriptures is known as the Tetragrammaton, (this is how it looks in Hebrew)

this may be seen as the alliteration  YHWH.  The bible was translated, God's name was taken out and replaced with titles like Lord and God.  God's name spelled in English of course is Jehovah and means "He causes to become" 

a key translation point to consider in the Greek scriptures is the word: "stauros" (σταυρός).  This is important because it is the word describing the instrument used too:> kill Jesus, and was actually a straight beam or steak.  In it's context at this time the cross was a pagan symbol integrated into Christianity by Constantine.  This happened In an attempt to unite a Christian and pagan land.  Constantine reported of having a vision before battle, and claimed an angel sent from the Lord told him to paint the cross (a symbol) on his soldiers' shields.  When he won the battle he attributed his victory to the vision and the cross became a Christian symbol.  Further, this was years after the death of Christ.  

Matthew 23:9 says, "do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One," has been disregarded by many in Religion.  This is good example of Mark 7:13, "you make the word of God invalid by your tradition which you handed down.  AND many things similar to this you do."  I find it appropriate to map my point out.  The Bible says not to call other men father (abstain from the use of religious titles is my understanding ) and many religions use religious titles who will keep doing so even though the Bible says not to.  And religion will continue to do this (tradition) and invalidate God's pure message.

I hypothesize that this separation of religion with the harmonious words of God happened when people began sinning and developed the powerful complex in divinity.  Role players in history placed hands into the capitalization of this abuse and influenced the way in which we perceive the world as we do now.

I am bearing witness to everyone that hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:  If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll;  and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life and out of the holy city, things which are written about in this scroll.

Media usage today: used to convey concepts of the past much more quickly and holistically understood. Facebook, twitter, other networking sites communicate over wide distance quickly and publicly. What is information and who's is it? Is it those who remember it, who can recall where it is stored, physically stored or is it theoretical/digital?

My mind is progressing through what seem to be a developed understanding of dichotomy as I contemplate what to write.  I mumble and form utterance. the context of thought into this meta-cognitive state where "what I say", is especially relevant.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is a book I am using to illustrate communication. The author presents six major lessons which he discusses throughout the book:

• The rich don’t work for money
• The importance of financial literacy
• Minding Your own business
• Taxes and corporations
• The rich invent money
• The need to work to learn and not to work for money
  

The next source that is key to this project is the preface for the Emphatic Diaglott. The Diaglott originally printed by the Vatican, is the Greek Scriptures (New Testament) and an Interlinear Translation. In the preface it discusses errors of a “serious nature” contained, and in “need of correction.” It continues to say that the minds of many may have been misled, people who did not have a means of knowing what the original words meant. Some interesting phenomenal discourses to adamantly pursue.
